Cruising Through Express Entry - Novusimmigration

The Express Entry program was introduced by the Canadian government on January 15, 2015. It is an online system that is used to manage applications from skilled workers.

The Immigration, refugees, and citizenship Canada(IRCC) help eligible applicants to apply for permanent residency in Canada. The eligible applicants can submit an Expression of Interest (EOI). For EOI, the candidate needs to create an online Express Entry profile and enter into the Express Entry Pool, where they will have a score called the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).

Applicants will be assigned a score out of 1,200 under the CRS. This score is utilized to rank the applicants that apply to immigrate to Canada. Aspirants have an option to improve their rankings and increase their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) which is the biggest hurdle crossed. Post ITA, the govt. ideally gives one 60 days to submit all the documents as per the checklist, along with the Medical and Police clearance certificate. On r
eceiving, they give you an AOR(Acknowledgement of Receipt) and take up to 6 months’ time to verify and send the acceptance.

IRCC performs the draw twice or thrice every month from this the pool of hopefuls, where the top-ranked contenders will receive an ITA accordingly.

The Express Entry Program Entails The Following:
·         Federal Skilled Worker Class
·         Federal Skilled Trade Class
·         Canadian Experience Class
·         Provincial Nominee Program

Age Factor! Will My Eligibility For Canada PR Be Affected?

Few commonly asked questions:

I am 45 years old, am I still eligible to apply for PR?

Having lost valuable points due to age, how else can I increase my CRS?

Can I still apply for PR though I have crossed 47?

Yes, absolutely, nothing is impossible. Being ICCRC consultants and licensed recruiters, we have done many such files successfully as per the suitable options, knowing all the legalities and technicalities, we could help you the right way if at all there is a chance as per the profile circumstance. How the CRS Points System works

Candidates can score a maximum of 1,200 points in the CRS. The criteria for allocation of points:

Awards 500 points for a core set of human capital factors that drive economic outcomes such as:

Age-110

Level of education-150

Official language proficiency-160

Canadian work experience- 80

Awards 40 points for spousal factors( 10 points reduced and contributed here from above)/li>
Awards 100 points for skills transferability,

Awards 600 points for applicants who have a validated provincial/territorial nomination and/or a qualifying arranged employment offer.

As you see above, AGE is one of the first criteria contributing 110 points towards the CRS.

This brings in a big change as max 110 is obtained by a candidate who is between 20 and 29, post which there is a reduction of 5 points every year and post 39, a reduction of 11 points every year. There are many options for applicants who are in CRS points ranging in the 300’s. They need to clear the basic eligibility 67 points criteria.

There are still viable options for applicants to apply for a PR, few general ones are as per the circumstances:

try getting maximum for Official language proficiency (through IELTS)

Provincial Nominations

Canadian work experience-Canadian Experience Class

Arranged employment/Work Permit

Business Investor Class Visa

Self Employed Visa

Canada awards points to applicants with an approved job offer. This can award 50 points or 200 points, depending on the nature of the position and NOC.

Easiest Way To Immigrate To Canada From India 2019

Your Immigration Consultant can be anywhere in the world and help you with the immigration process because the procedures are followed as per the Canadian Immigration laws. Now, only someone who is authorized to do so can represent your case. An ICCRC (Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council) and RCIC (Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant) is granted by the Canadian Government which enables consultants to help people regarding their Immigration process.

One who is registered and has the license will anyhow be in Canada, which does not mean they cannot take your case and help you out with it.

For example, we can say that there is a Consultancy in India and their ICCRC/RCIC lawyer/head office is in Canada and the applicant is from Dubai, is it possible to make his case? Yes, and thanks to technology for that because now everything can be googled.

People who really want to visit the consultancy can again take the help of the technology and make a video call, every other update can be shared via mail or text. If they wish they can also take a flight to meet them because an ICCRC registered lawyer will anyhow be in Canada.

So now we can say that distance really doesn’t matter!

The procedures followed are more of an online process, which can be done from anywhere in the world. The consultancy you are taking help from should be reliable enough to make to believe that they are not a fraud company and you will not be fooled. The location of the consultancy will only matter to you when you literally want to go visit them in person, otherwise, it is not required.

You can forward your details and documents to the consultancy and they can start off with the process, even the payments can be made online with the help of several digital payment platforms. The most the important factor here is trust, if you are convinced and if the agency has successfully cleared all your doubts with respect to online procedures you can sign up with them.

Verifying without visiting

Now this is where people come up with all the what-ifs and buts, for which they can-

Cross-check the RCIC registration number of the lawyer on the Federal website.
Go through the consultancy’s website and testimonials were given by people. Check their google review, lowest and highest ratings as google reviews are reliable feedback given by general people.

Check their location on google map.

If you have any friend or family in the same city you can also, ask them to visit and check.
Check the legality of their work, whether they sign any Retainer Agreement or not.
Whether the Representative is the ICCRC & RCIC registered or not.

If the consultancy fails to convince you that they are the one, don’t go for it, the location here hardly matters. To be on a safer side have a checklist to protect yourself from such frauds, use the checklist as a shield. Do not get fooled, be smart and do your homework before you pay.
